COMMAND AND CONTROL
Command Management
Information System

ITT’s CMIS is an advanced
shipboard C2 information
system that provides
watch-standers with all the
tools required to support a
broad spectrum of naval
missions ranging from Naval
Gunfire Support to Search
and Rescue. Utilizing
cutting edge hardware and
software, the CMIS provides
the operator with improved
situational awareness,
decision support aids and
sensor and weapon control.
The commercial
component-based design
provides the performance and
scalability needed to meet
the requirements of ship
platforms ranging from
Patrol Boats to
fully-equipped Corvettes and
Frigates.
Hosted over a network of
Commercial Off-The-Shelf
(COTS) open
architecture-distributed
computers, CMIS operators
can perform any task or
access any tool from a
common user interface
presented on ergonomically
designed Multifunction
consoles (MFCs)

DATA LINKS
ITT SCS has been a leading
supplier of tactical data
link products since 1987.
Our products support a
variety of operational needs
for secure and controlled
communication.
Our systems are used by U.S.
Armed Forces, NATO, and
other international
countries. Customers include
USAF, USN, US Special
Operations Forces, Norway,
Denmark, the Netherlands,
Greece, Turkey, Canada,
Brazil, Korea, Australia,
Singapore, and New Zealand.
ITT SCS’ data link systems
are NCTSI certified and
field-proven.
Tactical
Data Links come in several
configurations and are
installed in a variety of
environments:
Shipboard
system for Frigates, Coast
Guard cutters, Oilers, Fast
Patrol Boats, Command ships,
and Submarines
Airborne
configurations for P3s and
helicopters
Land-based
system for NADGE, ADGE, etc.
Mobil
systems for HMMWV
applications
Portable
TDL systems for ground
forces
SCS' Data Link Products can
be adapted to a host of
client needs, including Link
11, Link-Y, ASN-150,
Link-16, VMF, and Link-22.
Tactical Command Management
System (TCOMS)
ITT SCS' latest addition to
its family of Tactical Data
Link products is the
operationally-proven
Tactical Command Management
System (TCOMS). TCOMS is a
data link buffer,
translator, and management
system that provides
operational forces with
real-time Link-11 and
Link-16 surveillance data
exchange capability in order
to optimize tactical control
and overall force
coordination.
TCOMS is designed to meet
the future needs for
tactical connectivity and
growth to accommodate data
link upgrades and
modifications, such as the
addition of Link-22, VMF,
and National Data Link
message sets. This is
primarily achieved through
modular software design and
COTS hardware.
TCOMS is a networked
architecture of the latest
commercial products and is
engineered for growth. TCOMS
is capable of interfacing to
a broad range of legacy and
forward-deployed or mobile
systems.
TCOMS is based on 100%
commercial off-the-shelf
hardware and an
operationally-proven and
certified software baseline
backed by the required
systems engineering and
management expertise. The
TCOMS open-systems hardware
and software architecture
allow for expansion to
process other data links (e.g
Link-22, VMF), and for the
addition of new interfaces
and capabilities.
