ITT Sonar and Command
Systems
has been developing,
producing and operating
sonar systems for over 60
years. For almost 20 years, SCS has been using
Commercial-Off-The-Shelf
(COTS) hardware. All systems
have open architecture
software, which minimizes
total ownership costs and
facilitates upgrades.
Legacy systems include the
AN/SQS-26 and AN/SQS-35,
deployed aboard the US
Navy’s KNOX class frigates.
The Model 997 Hull-Mounted
System and the Model 980
Variable Depth Sonars are
derivates of those systems.
SCS has over 20 years of
experience developing and
delivering tactical data
link systems for shipboard,
airborne, subsurface, and
both mobile and fixed
shore-based applications. We
have delivered 12 data link
system configurations with
more than sixty
installations.
